Danielle & James

In a month that was threatening rain every week, it cleared out and made way for some beautiful weather for Danielle and James' wedding. Their ceremony was at St. Joseph's Church in Kingston and then they moved on to Senate House for pictures. For those who don't know, Senate House is a state historic site on Fair Street, circa 1700's (for more information on its history, click on the links above or below). What a fantastic location to be photographed. There is a little bit of everything for backdrops; garden, trees, open grassy areas, benches, brick and stone buildings, sidewalk with iron fence and streets. A dream location for a photographer or videograher. When we learned that this was the location for Danielle and James' pictures, we had to follow along for their photo session with Susan Bach of Photography by Susan. We were glad that we did! Among the stills I pulled from their formal session, there is a video clip of their session to view. Danielle and James were such great sports! When we were all inspired by the gorgeous location and how sweet they looked together, they were happy to pose for us just a little longer.

After pictures, the party continued at the Poughkeepsie Grand Hotel where DJ Domenic kept them on the floor all night. Though I have no clips or pictures now, there is sure to be more blogged about this wedding in the future. It was a great party with an adorable couple!
